There are several methods of constructing a fire-ring from simply digging a hole in the ground and piling rocks around the edge to going above ground using veneer covered concrete or cinder-blocks or building with segmented wall stones. Of course we think the above ground option is much preferred both functionally and in terms of aesthetics.
